Ms. Tonya Niese is a
seasoned executive recruiter with experience placing
senior-level candidates in a variety of industries.
Her career, primarily based in Chicago, Illinois,
has been to recruit for top companies across the
United States.
Prior to being a Managing Director in her own firm,
she was an executive recruiter at Heidrick & Struggles
International, Inc., at the time the largest executive
recruiting firm globally, and
second largest recruiting firm nationally. Clients
included venture capital and leveraged buyout firms
through to Fortune 500 companies. Ms. Niese’s
experience while there included investment management,
property
and casualty
insurance, banking, industrial products, and consumer
products. She
has placed CEO’s, CFO’s, COO’s,
Chief Investment Officers, VP‘s of Claims,
Sales and Marketing, and more. In addition,
she was responsible for the Chicago Office research
group managing eight to 10 employees and redesigned
the research function within the Chicago office.
Prior to her career with Heidrick & Struggles,
Ms. Niese recruited for the sixth most profitable
executive recruiting firm per capita in Chicago until
it was acquired by Heidrick & Struggles in 2000.
The firm was a boutique firm which specialized in
senior-level venture capital and leveraged buyout
executive placement. Her industry coverage
included medical, consumer and industrial products. She
placed CEO, CFO, COO, Vice Presidents of Sales and
Marketing, and Vice Presidents of Research and Development
executives.
She began her career as a Research Associate with
another Chicago boutique firm that specialized in
industrial manufacturing.
Currently, Ms. Niese is a Managing Director at Bell
Partners, LLC where she continues to work in retained
executive search.
